The Foundation held international conferences in London in February 2006 and February 2007 devoted to the 2001 Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and Aircraft Protocol; each conference was hosted by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
The Foundation has established the following scholarships:
- Two scholarships of £10,000 each for students at the University of Oxford engaged in research in the field of international uniform law or comparative law relating to commercial transactions.
- Two scholarships of £10,000 each for students at the University of Cambridge engaged in research in either or both of the above fields.
Three scholarships of €3,300 each for students engaged in research at UNIDROIT in either or both of the above fields.
Since the creation of the Foundation by Professor Sir Roy Goode, CBE, QC, FBA in 2005, the Foundation has granted and funded twenty seven scholarships:
- 5 at the University of Oxford
- 8 at the University of Cambridge
- 14 at UNIDROIT
